It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the first conference in a new European meeting series for photosynthesis research. The congress will bring together scientists working on the full spectrum of photosynthesis research.
This conference series is intended to run every four years, two years after the International Congress on Photosynthesis Research. It thus bridges the gap in the four year schedule for the international meeting. ePS-1, like the international photosynthesis congress, is organized under the auspices of the International Society for Photosynthesis Research.
ePS-1 will cover all aspects of photosynthesis, from genetics and molecular mechanisms, to crop yields, artificial photosynthesis and solar fuels. In addition, we will organize the ePS-Young meeting for PhD students and postdocs, the weekend before the main meeting.
