Carly Conlan – CoETP and RIPE Project

Carly was a Technical Officer in the Whitney lab and also for the RIPE consortium, based at The Australian National University. She contributes to the lab’s investigations into Rubisco biogenesis and catalytic functions.

RIPE (Realizing Increased Photosynthetic Efficiency) is a multi-institutional research project that aims to engineer plants that more efficiently turn the sun’s energy into food to sustainably increase worldwide food productivity. The RIPE project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. ripe.illinois.edu.
