Loraine Rourke – RIPE Project
Loraine worked on the RIPE Project (Realizing Increased Photosynthetic Efficiency). RIPE is a multi-institutional research project that aims to engineer plants that more efficiently turn the sun’s energy into food to sustainably increase worldwide food productivity. The RIPE project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Loraine worked as part of Dean Price’s Lab at ANU. She graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science in medical and applied Biotechnology from Charles Stuart University in 1999.
