Matteo Gionfriddo

Matteo was a visiting PhD student in the ANU Node and he is supervised by Chief Investigator Spencer Whitney. He studied at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome (Italy) and after he graduated, he got a PhD scholarship at Research Council of Italy with supervisors Laura De Gara and Francesco Loreto. As a core component of his PhD training, Matteo is researching the directed evolution of plant Rubisco using a screening system conceived in the Whitney Lab.
