Saul Newman

Saul works at the ANU Node in Canberra, as part of Program 3. His research focuses on linking genome and phenome using machine learning and multivariate statistics for photosynthetic traits. He originally comes from a human genomics background at John Curtin Medial School and most recently worked at CSIRO on using machine learning to find genes responsible for key traits in wheat.

Saul was with the Centre from 2018 to 2021
