Tristan Gibson
Tristan was an Honours student in Agricultural science at the University of Queensland. The research Tristan is involved in is a comparative study of sorghum and maize physiology and focuses on mechanisms that influence transpiration and photosynthesis capabilities. Concentrating on how stomatal conductance differs across maize and sorghum and its flow on effects to transpiration efficiency and radiation use efficiency. The research will be investigating CO2 assimilation rates of sorghum varieties and if they differ in providing improved photosynthesis capacity.
