The Centre’s aim is to integrate research, application and innovation by creating crucial links between research and industry, national and international institutions, consortia and breeding companies.

Our members are part of multiple national and international research collaborations and partnerships, such as:

RIPE (Realizing Increased Photosynthetic efficiency), the C4 Rice Project, the IWYP (International Wheat Yield Partnership), GRDC (Grains Research & Development Corporation),The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, ICRISAT, CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre), Oz Sorghum and the Chinese Academy of Science.
